Polihale Beach

At the western end of the island lies the longest beach of state of Hawaii. This 17-mile stretch of glistening white sand is hard to reach, as the road to the beach is rocky and rough. What makes it worthwhile though is its raw and tropical wilderness, and the mind-blowing sunsets.

Shipwreck Beach

Situated in front of the Grand Hyatt Resort at Poipu, this lonely beach is a perfect romantic getaway. A hike to the 50-feet high Shipwreck Rock at the end of the beach is breathtaking and highly recommendable. As the waves can be pretty rough, it's not an ideal beach for swimming.
